Truform

There’s something quietly reassuring about a mattress made right here in Cape Town by people who actually care how it turns out. Truform Bedding has done exactly that since 1984: a family-owned manufacturer supplying the retail and hospitality industries with quality innerspring and foam mattresses built in-house from the ground up. If you want a well-made, honestly priced mattress from a local business that takes real pride in its product, Truform deserves a serious look. Two family businesses, one shared commitment to getting sleep right.

Truform Mattresses: Cape Town-Made Beds for Every Budget

Cape Town Made, Properly Made

Most mattress brands in South Africa are assembled from a mix of imported components and outsourced manufacturing. Truform does things differently: they manufacture most components in-house at their Cape Town facility, giving them direct control over quality at every stage. The range spans both innerspring and foam constructions, covering a wide segment of the market from entry-level options to a premium range used by the hotel and hospitality industry, which says a lot about the build quality. Hotels are demanding customers. They need mattresses that can withstand heavy, continuous use while consistently delivering a comfortable night’s sleep. The fact that Truform supplies this market speaks for itself.

Who Is Truform For?

Truform is the brand we reach for when a customer needs a genuinely well-made mattress at a price that doesn’t require a deep breath before committing. It’s also the brand we recommend for guest rooms, children’s rooms, holiday homes, and rental properties situations where quality and durability matter, but where spending top-tier isn’t necessary or practical. Because Truform manufactures both innerspring and foam options, they cover the full spectrum of sleep preferences. Innerspring models suit back sleepers and stomach sleepers who want traditional spring support, while their Pocket spring range suits side sleepers and those looking for pressure-relieving properties without the big brand price tag.

A Local Manufacturer Worth Supporting

Two family businesses, Truform and The Sleep Gallery, are both rooted in Cape Town and built on the idea that good sleep shouldn’t cost the earth. We’re proud to stock them and happy to talk you through the range in our Claremont showroom. Truform is currently available for delivery across the Western Cape only.
